Words given voice...

Perhaps this is a generalization, but to me, we all have something that piques our interests, fuels our imagination, feeds the flames of the bale fires of our muses... For me, if my words were given voice, especially The Venue (see Band Night) then this would be it:

Chris Daughtry sings Walk the Line

Many thanks to HS Kinn for the linkage!!

Isn't he da bomb?

He's fine in a way that makes sexy so boring. He's so smooth, so touchable... Oooh yeah.

But he also does Live... Which I likeeee.

I can actually see the venue with that sound. Yummers.

Hugs on this fine, fine morning. I'm having probs with my blogger create a post. So I'm bloghopping.

Chris is DA BOMB! Smooth is a good word to describe him, too. Regardless of the blad head, his voice, his personality is smooth.

Thanks for the hugs! consider them joyfully returned. :)

Bernita!~
Yup! I think through the posts I have demonstrated my penchant for that which is empassioned, percussive, rhythm related... I love music with a good beat and a rougher edge; I love Chris's rendition of the song, too!

It don't have a damn thing to do with the hair, or lack thereof. So don't go there. the 'bald' comment should been worded to say 'in addition to.' But I don't want people think I drool over bald headed men.

I appreciate you giving the guy's blunt perception. It's a shame that men see things so 'bluntly.' I appreciate nuance, tone, tune...

Shakira? Augillera?? Hell NO. Ain't sensual to me, at least not in the right way to write to; too much 'pop'. And, truthfully, there aren't many 'girls' I listen to. Check my music files. Bitches is few and far between. I like a rougher, 'rock' edge, a little growl...

ROFLMAO!

Excuse me why I cackle over here...

I can't even comment after this. Too priceless!

Well, goodness, Lady M. I'm glad to have made you laugh. ...I think...

WagerWitch said...

You did!

LOL!

It was the "bitches" comment that had me holding my sides and wiping my nose.

Cheers - to a better day and a happy coffee!

Chris - YES!

I think I own 2 women's CDs only(and if I told one of them, you'd roll your eyes and worry more about me ...)

What - Marie Osmond?

I own and write to an abundance of Depeche Mode and Tori Amos if I need to get a girlier vibe going on. I found an mp3 of Chris singing "Walk the Line," did you get it?

H.S. --- "Somebody" - My absolute Favorite... And "Crucify" - beyond description.

Excellent taste you have.

HS~
NOOOO please send the MP3 of Chris again!! I have lots of Depeche Mode on tape, but those are fossils now.

What is it with Tori Amos?? *shakes head* I just don't get it...

Just a thought, but based on your 'Bitches' comment, maybe you might want to check out some of the following:

Human Waste Project (only one album, but birthed theSTART, which is more New Wave than rock);

Manhole/Tura Satana/My Ruin (selected songs only);

Otep (a seriously feisty woman spewing venom and spoken word performance art);

Drain STH (kind of like a female Alice In Chains);

Spike 1000 (highly rated by Jonathan Davis of Korn);

Kittie (2nd album onwards).

Yeah... bitches... I could put all the female artists in my playlist on less than one hand.

Thanks for the guidance! I've not hear of them. I'll have to put Codequeen on the hunt for the torrents.
